I started late. I wasn’t as skilled as my peers. No one expected me to end up at what would be the number one prep school in the US.

Yet, twenty-three NCAA Division I offers and a decade-long pro career later, it all traces back to a 15-year-old South London kid whose mindset made the difference.

Basketball gave me structure, discipline, a sense of community, and a strong identity. Most of all, it built the elite mindset that makes beating the odds possible.

Beyond the court.

That same mindset opened doors outside the game. I earned a psychology degree with honors, contributed to research recognized by the Eastern Psychological Association, and revamped the athletic department at the UK’s top specialist music school.

It also led to signing a Nike contract and shooting a commercial with Snoop Dogg (yeh, I know).

An elite mindset made the improbable possible, even off the court.

I understand the weight of the moment, the pressure of expectations, and the desire to rise above, because I’ve been there.

That’s why I focus on the mindset that drives behavior first. My coaching is interactive, challenging players to engage, respond, and broaden their perspective.
